The Rise and Rise of Hyundai
In February 2010, new vehicle registrations were up 14.4% on the corresponding month in 2009. There were some great increase which all bode well for the coming year, but bear in mind that some dealers are still delivering the vehicles which were ordered prior to December 2009, the final day of the 50% tax incentive. Amongst the numbers were some notable improvements on 2009, most of which were on the back of small comparative numbers, like Ssangyong (127% up) Skoda (89%up) Proton (136%up) Lamborghini (133%up) Isuzu Ute (104%up) Jeep (73% up) Ferrari (66%up) Audi (35%) up. Toyota Aurion Sportivo Car Review
Toyota Aurion Sportivo Review Despite the recent weakening of buyers’ interest in large cars, the Toyota Aurion makes a convincing pitch based on value, fuel economy, technical sophistication and a manufacturer’s reputation for quality, reliability, durability and safety. With its name deriving form the Greek word for ‘Tomorrow’, the Aurion’s design has just that in mind, in that it will not date and will still look good in tomorrow’s market. Two models of the Aurion Sportivo are available – the SX6 and the ZR6. With both having a 3.5ltr V6 engine and 6speed auto transmission, the key difference lies in styling – ‘Sports ...

Toyota Yaris Car Review
Toyota Yaris YRS 5dr Hatch Review Replacing the Echo a few years ago, the Yaris is built incorporating Toyota’s reputation for quality, reliability, durability and safety, and is a stylish and economical vehicle that should not be dismissed without serious consideration. There is also a sports alternative, the YRX Hatchback, that puts it in contention with the Suzuki Swift. Categorised as a light car, the Yaris is ...

RUF RGT-8 V8-POWERED PORSCHE 911
RUF RGT-8: Pretty impressive shoehorning job, cramming a 4.5-litre 90-degree V8 into the space normally reserved for a flat six. Result? A Ruf-tweaked V8 911. The engine is bespoke – designed in-house by Ruf – and features a flat crank, dry sump and quad cams. Four hundred and four kilowatts of it. And 500Nm. And it weighs under 200kg, miraculously... BF Performance Lamborghini Gallardo GT600
AGE OF INNOCENCE: “Too innocent” and “neither dynamic nor individual enough” – these are the claims leveled at the standard Gallardo LP 560-4 by the not-so-humble chaps at Swiss tuning firm BF Performance. And the Gallardo GT600 is the result. Power jumps from 430kW to 448kW, and torque climbs by a similar small margin – 539Nm to 574.... [Read more of this review]
